Our Moving Services in Montgomery County
Our services include residential moving, furniture disassembly and assembly, office moving for local businesses and piano moving. Beyond standard house moves, we also take small moves. Whether you are moving a small apartment or a multi-story family home, you pay the same hourly rate for the crew and truck.
Transparent Hourly Rates & Local Pricing
We bill local moves by the hour, so you pay only for the time actually worked. Our rates are straightforward: $150/hour for 2 movers, $200/hour for 3 movers, and $250/hour for 4 movers, all of which include the truck. We take small moves and full-house moves alike, with a 3-hour minimum for every booking. To secure your date, a non-refundable $150 deposit is required, which is then applied toward your final bill. Notably, we bill for the driving time between your old and new addresses, but the return trip to our Northeast Philadelphia terminal is not charged to the customer.
How We Work: From Northeast Philly to Your Door
The duration of a move depends on several variables, including the volume of items, the presence of an elevator, and the distance between the truck and your door. For a typical apartment, a studio usually takes 3–4 hours, while a one-bedroom may take 4–6 hours. Moving a full house can range from 8–12 hours or more depending on complexity. The clock begins when our truck leaves the terminal in Northeast Philadelphia and stops once the final item is unloaded. Factors such as narrow stairs or long walking distances to the parking spot will naturally increase the labor time. Please note that our estimates are non-binding; the final invoice reflects the actual hours worked by the crew.
